Fruit & Vegetable Scheme |
The Year 6 children arrive early to count and sort the fruit for our popular
fruit and veg scheme.
Most of the children in the school have fresh fruit
at morning break.
Bananas are very popular - but more difficult to count!
We have to get to school at half past eight in the morning at the latest.
First of all we
have to collect the baskets from the office and take them
through to the hall.
Then we all have to open the hatch so that we can collect
the fruit and carefully place them
into year group baskets.
