World Cup 2006

Key Stage 2 celebrated the World Cup by having a football tournament. Teams of 8 represented all of the countries taking part in the current World Cup in Germany. They made flags for the opening parade. Of course there were winners and losers but there was also a special "Fair Play" award. The games were played in a super spirit -the childen cheering on their friends.

In the afternoon the children studied the culture of their chosen country. They did some artwork, carried out some research, danced and tasted exotic foods.
